
Richard E. DuBois, M.D., is one of the world’s leading authorities on
infectious diseases. During his more than 30 years as a physician he has
earned many honors and awards, including the Excellence in Teaching Award
at Atlanta Medical Center, where he has been re-elected by his peers to
four consecutive terms as Chief of Internal Medicine.
Dr. DuBois has also served as President of the Georgia Society of Internal
Medicine, President of the Infectious Disease Society of Georgia, and
President of the Medical Association of Atlanta. He has been included in
the list of Best Doctors in America and chosen by his medical colleagues
as their “physician of choice” in the area of infectious diseases. He has
also held national medical offices and published numerous manuscripts in
peer-reviewed medical journals.
In addition to his duties at Atlantic Medical Center Dr. DuBois currently
works in private practice treating infectious diseases.
